Overview
Pixama provides a streaming experience where users discover condensed movie cuts, watch shorts, save titles, and follow linked service links. We process personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the GDPR for users in the European Economic Area.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, such as email address, password, profile name, country or region, support messages, language preference, and account settings. We also collect service data such as watchlist items, likes, viewing history, playback progress, searches, plan status, device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, and technical logs. Payment details are handled by Stripe, Apple, Google, or another payment provider; Pixama receives subscription status and limited billing details, not full card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, provide playback and watchlist features, enforce country and rights availability, process subscriptions, provide support, prevent abuse, keep required records, improve the service, and send service notices. Optional analytics or marketing cookies are used only when consent is given.
How we share information
We share information with service providers that host, store, stream, analyze, secure, support, and operate Pixama. This may include cloud infrastructure, payment processors, app stores, email providers, diagnostics, and support tools. If you follow a linked service link, that service handles your activity under its own terms and privacy policy. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, users, or Pixama.
Your choices
You can update account information where the app provides controls, change language preference, manage cookie choices on web surfaces, request account deletion, and unsubscribe from non-essential emails where offered. Some data may be retained where needed for security, billing, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or backup integrity.
EU privacy rights
EEA users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection to certain processing, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. In Spain, that authority is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD). In Sweden, it is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Children
Pixama is not directed to children under 13. Where local law requires a higher age for consent to online services, users must meet that requirement or use Pixama only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement.
